MacBook Pro Air M1 Silicon and iMac M2

Apple has developed its own processor for the new generations of its current Macs. The Silicon M1 chip.

With the Silicon M1 M2 processors, the current Mac Mini, MacBook Air and Pro have become significantly more powerful. The new CPU not only develops significantly less heat, it also requires significantly less power. Basically, this means that the MacBook Air, for example, can run for up to 17 hours.

Current benchmark tests prove the enormous increase in performance compared to an Intel CPU. A new generation of iMacs is also expected in 2021, which should also get the Silicon M chip.
