Privacy – mac-store24 Google-Auswertung
Scope and controller
These notices apply to the private application “mac-store24 Google-Auswertung”. The controller is Remacs GmbH, represented by managing director Kevin Ludwig, Talstr. 18, 71116 Gärtringen, Germany. Contact: support@mac-store24.com. The application is intended for authorised business users.
Purpose and legal basis
The application supports internal analysis of traffic, search visibility, purchases and product performance for mac-store24.com. Where personal data is processed, this serves our legitimate interest in secure operation and in analysing and improving our webshop (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Any consent required for the original collection of website data remains unaffected. The account holder separately authorises Google access through OAuth.
Data accessed
Depending on authorisation, the application retrieves Google accounts and available properties; GA4 metrics including sessions, carts, purchases and revenue, broken down by page, source, country or device; Search Console queries, pages, clicks, impressions and positions; and Merchant Center account information, product identifiers, titles, issues and performance. URLs may contain query parameters. The application does not retrieve individual customer orders, payment details or Google passwords.
Permissions
Reporting functions read data without changing products, feeds or advertising campaigns. Analytics and Search Console use read-only permissions; Merchant Center requires Google’s broader Shopping permission “content”. Services are authorised separately. A separate setup function, requiring explicit confirmation, registers the Cloud project with Merchant Center account 139758513 and records k.ludwig@klmedia.info as the technical contact with the “API developer” role and API notifications. This changes these account settings at Google.
Storage and protection
The application database stores the user identifier, OAuth client credentials, access and refresh tokens, granted permissions, selected properties and update timestamps. Client credentials and tokens are encrypted at rest; transmission uses HTTPS. Temporary login states are valid for ten minutes and are removed when used or during subsequent login attempts. Reports are processed for the request and are not archived in this database.
Recipients and processing in ChatGPT
Google supplies the authorised data. The application runs on ChatGPT Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Requests through the ChatGPT tool transmit report results to OpenAI for processing in the ChatGPT account in use; results may be stored in chat history. Access and refresh tokens are not returned to the chat as tool results. Chat histories, technical operational data and backups are additionally subject to the providers’ service and account settings. Processing outside the EEA, particularly in the USA, is possible. Provider notices: Google, OpenAI and Cloudflare.
Retention, revocation and deletion
Connection data is retained to operate the connection; there is currently no automatic deletion period. Access can be revoked at any time in Google account connections. This ends further authorised access but does not automatically delete stored connection data or chat histories. Request deletion of application connection data at support@mac-store24.com. Chat histories must also be managed in the relevant ChatGPT account. Statutory retention obligations and technically necessary backup retention periods remain applicable.
Limited use of Google data
We use Google data only for the analysis functions described. We do not sell it or use it for personalised advertising, credit decisions or training general-purpose AI models. The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your rights and additional notices
Subject to applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Consent may be withdrawn for the future. You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Contact: support@mac-store24.com. Material changes to processing will be communicated before introduction; any necessary new authorisations will be requested again.
