Visually, the new Apple MacBook Pro and Air devices are indistinguishable from their Intel processor predecessors. Technically, Apple promises significantly more performance with lower power consumption and less heat generation.

The new MacBook Air 2020 M1 CPU has 8 cores. The GPU is available with either 7 or 8 cores. The RAM can be configured up to 16GB. Flash storage is available up to 2TB.
