Apple Pro Display XDR: does it suit your Mac?
When buying a used Apple Pro Display XDR, compatibility of the whole workstation matters. Check whether your Mac supports the desired resolution and refresh rate, and which connection and cable are needed. A physically matching plug alone does not establish compatibility.
Check glass and mounting accessories
Compare the glass variant and cosmetic condition of the display surface. Check explicitly whether a stand, VESA adapter or other accessories are included. Do not assume these are supplied solely because they appear in a product image.
Professional display or another Apple option?
Choose the display for your applications and workspace. Colour-critical work has additional workflow requirements. Compare other Apple displays if needed, and check the different connection standards of older models.
